And Sahridaz Journeyed with him as far as Eingëdwar and there he dwelt. And time moved slowly for the sons of the Sinar, and they dwelt in peace. Now it came about that in his fiftieth year in the Vale of Eingëdwar Sahridaz came upon a woman at a well, and he found her beautiful to his sight and he asked her saying ‘I am thirsty from my travels, and have no vessel by which to draw water’ And she said unto him ‘Here is mine what hinders you from using it’ and she proceeded to draw water for him. And he said unto her “by the blood of my kin, I have had a foretelling that I would come upon a well and say unto the first woman I found ‘I am thirsty from my travels, and have no vessel by which to draw water’ And she who would take pity on me and qualm my thirst, and that she would be the one for whom I would wed’ Having said this he asked to seek out her father. And when they had come to the walls of her father home he called out ‘I am Sahridaz son of Nahath of the Arathan’ And her father rose and came to the gate, and said unto Sahridaz ‘ I am Torhen, son of Tachën also of the Arathan, and this is my daughter Shmiya who I hold dear to me’ At this Sahridaz rejoiced telling of his foretelling of the well, and then he knelt before Torhen and asked for his daughters hand. </p><p>And Sahridaz dwelt among the people of Torhen, deep within the earth for six hundred years, and peace was in the world. And to him Shmiya bore a son which he named Isamildë, and he lived three hundred years and passed into the Sína, thus death first came to Aryand. And his son grew tall, and fair, and it came about that he left his mother and traveled south across the River Anu to the land of the Aratha and he built for himself a wondrous city on the place of great power and named the city Torh-Nahathas which later grew to be known as Thorenath.
