Another I did for the creator of the Green Empress and Necromalgam. This one, in fact, is a creation of the Empress. --------------------- "Precious Darling" Huge Undead Hit Dice: 32d12 (272 hp) Initiative: +8 Speed: 40 ft. AC: 14 (-2 size, +4 Dex, +4 natural) Base Attack/Grapple: +28/+34 Attacks: Claw +34 melee; or tongue +35 touch/melee Full Attack: 2 claws +34 melee, bite +33 melee; or tongue +35 touch/melee Damage: Claw 2d4+8, bite 2d6+4, tongue disease Face/Reach: 15 ft./10 ft. Special Attacks: Disease, pounce, improved grab, rake 2d4+4 Special Qualities: Scent, darkvision 60 ft., undead traits, immunities Saves: Fort +12, Ref +16, Will +13 Abilities: Str 27, Dex 19, Con -, Int 12, Wis 12, Cha 12 Skills: Hide +9/+13, Jump +16, Listen +7, Move Silently +18, Spot +9, Swim +8 Feats: Great Fortitude, Improved Initiative, Iron Will, Lightning Reflexes, Multiattack, Weapon Finesse (bite), Weapon Focus (bite), Weapon Focus (tongue) Climate/Terrain: Any Organization: Unique Challenge Rating: 21 Treasure: None Alignment: Lawful evil Advancement: 33-96 HD (Gargantuan) When the Green Empress was alive, according to the author of The Ebon Shadows, she kept a vast menagerie of creatures of an almost infinite array of descriptions, collected from throughout her empire. Among her favorites was a most ferocious, and terrible fanged beast, which the Green Empress referred to as her "precious darling." Surprisingly, no actual description of it while it was still alive survives. Most sages, the author excluded, believe that it was a tiger, or cave lion that one of her dukes captured for her. "Precious Darling" lived for many, many decades, well after the Green Empress' descent into undeath. When it finally expired, the Green Empress wept for her pet, shedding many crimson tears. Then, she reanimated it, making it among the very first undead she created herself. Precious Darling shies from the light, though apparently it does not cause it harm. In combat, it has a habit of hiding in pits it has dug and leaping to the attack. Disease (Su): Precious Darling’s tongue inflicts a terrible wasting disease. Make a Fortitude save (DC 15) or be afflicted with mummy rot. Victims slain by the rotting attack rise as zombies whose slam attack inflicts mummy rot as well (DC 10). Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, Precious Darling must hit with its bite attack. If it gets a hold, it can rake. Pounce (Ex): If Precious Darling leaps upon a foe during the first round of combat, it can make a full attack even if it has already taken a move action. Rake (Ex): Precious Darling can make two rake attacks (+18 melee) against a held creature with its hind legs for 2d4+4 damage each. If it pounces on an opponent, it can also rake. Immunities (Ex): Immune to electricity; takes half damage from piercing and slashing weapons; takes half damage from magical fire or cold on a failed save and none on a successful one. Skills: Precious Darling receives a +6 racial bonus to Hide and Move Silently checks. In areas of tall grass or heavy undergrowth, the Hide bonus improves to +10.
