The average yautja is between 7 and 9 feet tall, and weighs from 600 to 1000 lbs. Their skin can be almost any color, but shades of green and black are most common. They are usually very muscular with no body hair. Both the yautja's hands and feet have long claws that are harder than adamantine. At birth and through young adulthood the yautja have a ring of hair very similar to a humans, but once they become a hunter they go through a very long and painful ritual that turns their hair into thick dreadlocks with a plastic/rubber like sheen. The most terrifying thing about the yautja to humans is their head and face. The yautja have small deep set eyes, they have no known nose. Over thier mouths are two large skin flaps that open to the side and end in various sized tusks. Under the flaps they have a large gaping maw and razor sharp teeth (lucky for their prey the yautja never bite in combat). The tops of their heads are domed and some sport cranial ridges. Along the edge of this dome is their hair.</p><p> The yautja society is based entirely around the hunt, and the honor gotten from the hunt. They are not evil as there prey would believe. They only hunt species designated as lawful prey. The yautja will not kill those unable to defend themselves or children of any species. They only get honur from killing those that could kill it, or are able to defend themselves against it (the yautja have been known to not use some forms of weaponry to even the odds). They have their own laws which are very strict, particularly laws dealing with the hunt. By human standards all yautja live by a code of honor similar to the samurai of medieval Japan.</p><p> <strong>How a non-yautja can join the hunt</strong>:</p><p>It is possible for a non-yautja to be accepted into the yautja race. This is not as rare an occurrence now as it was centuries ago. To be welcomed into the clan, A non-yautja must be blooded. This is when a leading yautja hunter carves his personal sign/symbol into the recipients fore-head (similar to an arcane mark). This symbol must be earned. A few examples are, by saving the life of a yautja, by helping fell a powerful prey with a hunter, by performing a great service to the yautja society, honorably fighting and defeating a yautja.</p><p> <strong>Hunter Technology</strong>:</p><p>COMING SOON</p><p></p><p><strong>Combat</strong>:</p><p> The yautja are an honorable race in combat. They would never attack while invisible and few would attack from hiding. </p><p></p><p><strong>Special Attacks</strong>:</p><p> <strong>Shriek</strong>: A yautja can emit a ferocious and terrible sounding shriek/roar when not wearing a hunter mask. Creatures who successfully save against this attack cannot be affected by the same yatja's shriek fore one day.</p><p>Affect: All those within a 30 ft. spread must succeed at a Will save (DC 30) or flee in terror for 1d4 rounds. Those beyond this range but within a 80 ft. spread automatically suffer a -2 morale penalty to attack and damage rolls for 1d8 hours.</p><p></p><p> <strong>Fear Aura</strong>: At the mere sight of a yautja, the viewer must succeed at a Will save (DC 20) or be paralyzed with fear for 1d4 rounds. Whether or not the save is successful, that creature cannot be affected again by that yautja's fear aura for one day.</p><p></p><p><strong>Special Qualities</strong>:</p><p> <strong>Blindsight 20 ft.</strong>: Due to the yautja's training to hunt from birth, they have developed incredible natural senses that allow them to sense the presence of anything approaching within 20 ft.</p><p> <strong>Damage Reduction 15/+4</strong></p><p> <strong>Cold/Fire/Acid Resistance 20</strong>: Due to the adaptability of the yautja's body's they are able to survive in most hostile climates without any protection.</p><p> <strong>Poison/Electricity Immunity</strong>: Due to the adaptability of the yautja body, poison has no affect on them. Over the centuries the yautja technological advances have made them eventually adapt to be immune to shock and electricity.</p><p> <strong>Heatvision 360 ft.</strong> : The natural vision of the yautja is a form of infrared vision. Due to this prey can hide from an unmasked yautja by changing there outer body temperature to that of the air around them.</p><p> <strong>Mimicry</strong>: Yautja can imitate the sounds of almost any creature they hear and have time to study. *They can only repeat phrases/sounds they have actually heard.</p><p> <strong>Improved Tracking</strong>: Yautja are consummate trackers and make track checks at (spot check+wilderness lore) to trace a creature's passage.</p><p> <strong>Natural Cunning</strong> : Yautja possess innate cunning and logical ability. This makes them immune to maze spells, prevents them from ever becoming lost, and enables them to track enemies.
