For GMs of the ZEITGEIST adventure path, these premium handouts contain letters, mission briefings, clues, and commonly-referenced details of NPCs, locations, and ships the party will encounter during the campaign. Every time an adventure includes a prop for the PCs, this pack will include it.

This pack contains 17 full-color, two-sided handouts. Print them out yourself or order the sturdy cardstock versions. The card set is useful for both Pathfinder and D&D 4E games, and when they mention game mechanics, alternate stats are presented on each side of the handout.

If you already have the Act One compilation, 90% of the pack is just reformatted versions of material already in the adventures. For instance, during the Kaybeau Arms Fair in adventure three, it'd be nice to have a handy reference for the players as they navigate the place. But the adventure has secret information on the same page as stuff that is public knowledge, so we made a handout that doesn't have any spoilers.

The pack also includes 8 x 10 sized versions of the Lanjyr continental and the Risur national map, stats of ships of the RHC, a map of the RHC headquarters, dramatis personae of who the PCs should know at the start of the campaign, and then a variety of stuff they'll discover along the way.

There's also one bit that we didn't come up with until the hardcover had already gone to print: secrets of the Vekeshi Mystics. I could say "Buy the handouts to learn the secrets," but you know your players like cool props, so you'll buy them anyway. For reference, though, here's that two-page handout. Players should not read this unless you're playing a Vekeshi Mystic.

I've ordered a proof. Once I find out how they've turned out, I'll send out print copies to our Kickstarter backers who ordered one.

Next up, adventure nine, The Last Starry Sky!

Checked them the minute I got e-mail notification. And man, are they beautiful!

EDIT: I particularly love high-resolution map of Lanjyr, printing this the first moment I can, and Vekeshi Mystics info is just in time for my player's big promotion. Although I'm still going to modify Coaltongue for "One big gun" rules from Admiral O'High Seas...

EDIT2: honestly, the more I follow these forums, the more I feel like I grossly underpaid you with a single subscription on RPGnow giving so much content. We've been playing Zeitgeist since the start of this year, I think, and will be likely playing it for a year more, and that's if we don't decide to delude it with side-quests...

I wish RPGNow would get its poster printing system set up. I've talked with a friend who works there, and I guess it's more of a hassle than printing books, which tend to all be the same size. I have a ~20-inch poster map of Lanjyr, and I love it. It would be a great way for us to offer high-end props, and maybe even bundle the Lanjyr and Flint maps into a boxed set some day. Which would sure as hell cost more than the $40 I paid for my first D&D boxed set back in 1995.

Plus, we've got a ton of ship maps from Admiral o' the High Seas that I imagine would sell well.

I certainly don't have any problems with people who purchased the Zeitgeist subscription early on, because it helped us fund the early adventures. That said, Morrus, maybe we should raise the subscription price to $120 (then, muahaha, have a "sale" for $60 right before Christmas).

One awesome thing is that DTRPG/RPGNow now allow for print bundles, allowing us to create "boxed sets" (minus the actual box). For example, I'm working on a ZEITGEIST Starter Set, which is the first adventure and the two guides:

Sadly, it can only bundle books so far. Not cards. So I can't include the NPC face cards or handout sets like this. I really hope to be able to do so one day.

One way around that, I guess, is to create handout books designed for folks to cut to pieces with a pair of scissors. Is that something that would appeal, perhaps? That way the cards and handouts can be included in physical bundles. A starter set bundle, the Act 1 bundle, etc.

How amazing would it be if the below also contained face cards and premium handouts? And was in a box?

This is what a deluxe starter set, with three books, the handouts, and cards could look like. If RPGNow gets that working, this would be a wonderful thing to offer.

It only just now occurred to me that the player handout continent map probably shouldn't have Axis Island labeled. It's kind of a tipoff that it's more important than just another Yerasol island, even factoring in that it's the main site of the first adventure.

Does the island-continent that Ber and Risur occupy have a separate name, or does local usage consider it to be part of Lanjyr?
