There are so many people who do not bat an eyelash at the Battlemaster's resources but it's probably one of the closest class-subclasses to 4E encounter-based powers. But you don't actually get more interesting maneuvers or encounter powers as you level, you actually get less interesting ones, since you tend to pick the best ones early on.</p></blockquote><p></p>
