[QUOTE="Abdiel Tirimas, post: 3225605, member: 48288"] On the two longswords vs. two bastard swords and single bastard vs single greatsword... No worries, I just chose a sword that seemed plausible, a greatsword is equally as applicable. Wheras with the two bastard swords... Eh. Alright, just, the idea of using two bastard swords is somewhat ridiculous... but this IS D&D. So, just subsititute for two swords of similar type. And in our current campaign, feats like monkey grip are not allowed at all, so, I figured that makes sense. Weilding dual greatswords is... <_<; I completely agree with you on the Unrivaled Edge. (edits) I forgot to post the graphs that show the saves. The primary save increase is in reflex, with fort being second, and Will being last. And believe me, I know the difficulties of two weapon fighters. I've dealt with damage problems until I got to the ability to buy more magic weapons. And next level will have improved critical, which makes my life even better. I think that makes sense. But it also makes sense that by the time you can even access this class, if you are planning to go with two weapon style, that you'd have chosen improved two weapon fighting... if not, then you would have real difficulty taking advantage of some of the abilities granted by the class. I'm waiting til after lvl 11 fighter to go with it, for a max of 8 hits at lvl 8 Blademaster. Hmm... Well, the reason I said they should forge their weapon is so they would have that innate sense of companionship with their sword, they made it themselves, etc. But I think, for some cases, like the one you cited, that can be waived. But in the world I'm playing in, really powerful magic weapons are... really really rare, and we're more wrapped up in a political/warfare campaign, so we don't do much plundering or finding of magic gear. So, make it work! If it makes more sense that you have weapons that are specific to him, then that's fine. "• To gain levels in Blademaster past 3rd, must have already forged, or must forge their own weapon, or have weapons he will always use, and name them. These must be masterwork. If their named weapon(s) break, they must forge a replacement, or find an equally important weapon. " Sound better? And on the saves : Two Weapon Style: Class Level BAB Fort Ref Will 1 +1 +1 +2 +0 Quick Draw, Bonus Feat, Whispered Name 2 +2 +1 +3 +1 Balanced Hands 3 +3 +2 +3 +2 Uncanny Dodge, Lore of Twin Blades 4 +4 +2 +4 +2 Sword as a Shield, Whispered Name +2 5 +5 +3 +4 +3 Evasion, Lore of Twin Blades 6 +6 +3 +5 +3 Dance of Swords, Whispered Name +3 7 +7 +4 +5 +4 Bonus Feat, Lore of Twin Blades 8 +8 +4 +6 +4 Flurry of Blades 9 +9 +5 +6 +5 Legendary Blade, Whispered Name +4 10 +10 +6 +7 +5 Follows same lines for single weapon, with style abiliites instead.
