does having a prestige class invoke the XP penalty for multi-classing ?

e.g. Half-Orc, Rouge 5 / Assassin 2

I do not see the Rouge. I see a Rogue but no Rouge

Well, go by the Rouges Handbook, one of the class related products. Kinda the mixture of Tomb of Blood and Tiehfs and Brads Handbook. And BTW, it's fourth edition...

And you didn't know that? Pfftttt........
