I want to make an suit of +1 armour that also grants a +6 resistance bonus to saves against spells and spell-like effects. (Well, no I don't, but I want to include something like it in my campaign. It's armour made from some magic-disrupting unobtainium alloy.)

Assuming you'd even allow a +6 resistance bonus to saves, how much would you charge for this?

+1 armor is 1000gp. +6 resistance bonus to saves is 36,000gp. You could use the adamantine chart for your new substance, which adds +5000gp for light armor, +10,000gp for medium armor, and +15,000gp for heavy armor. So +1 unobtanium full plate that grants a +6 resistance bonus to saves comes to 52,000gp.

The +6 may also qualify as an epic bonus. I am not up on that part of it. If so, isn't it x10? So that would be 1000 + 360,000 +15,000.

Well, for all intents and purposes that resist bonus is the same as a Cloak of Resistance +6. Both give +6 resist bonuses to saves, so you're effectively adding a slotless version of a 36k item.

Of course, there are some things the cloak would help with that yours wouldn't. Poison and disease (Fort), being set on fire (Reflex), and the occasional Su ability, like a domination effect (Will). Personally I wouldn't discount the price too much for these exceptions, though; to me they're the exceptional case.

If you're using 3.5E, I'd say you'd be better off having it as one of those flat-price armor enhancements (say, +50k) instead of trying to convert it to a flat +X market price.

Edit: Forgot to add, Cloak of Resistance only goes up to +5 in the 3.5E SRD, so you're actually making a slotless version of an item that isn't even in the SRD. That ought to be worth a bit in its own right.

Ignoring "epic or not epic" for the moment -- +6 resistance bonus on armor = 6*6*1000*1.5 = 54,000 gp. (The price of armor special abilities that have flat costs are 1.5 times the normal, separate item, price.)

If the ability qualifies as an epic ability, then the cost is 540,000 gp.
