Primal Power Shaman Excerpt

While it's good that we know a bit more about the other Shaman builds, has anyone determined what the actual link for the Scarred Healer is? Right now it's linked to the Stonefire Rager.

As for the rest of the article, I think it's good they have a build that helps ranged attacks, especially for the party that prefers to open up with a full barrage.

Here's the linky.
It wasn't that hard >_> The Barbarian preview was _bar.pdf, so for Shaman I tried _sha.pdf first, and then got it with _sh.pdf :D

And regarding the PP, it's damn good, IMO. You can get +Con+Wis to Healing powers that use Healing Surges. IIRC, Hybrid Clerics get Healing Lore by default, so a Shaman|Cleric would be getting +Con+Wis+Wis. Not bad at all.

I like it - I've long felt that Shaman's were the main competitor with the Cleric in the raw healing department (with Cleric's getting more single-target healing vs the Shaman's party healing). Divine Power put the Cleric back to the top, but I think this is a good sign Shaman will remain competitive.

Note that Healer's Lore only applies to Cleric powers, and Scar's Gift only applies to primal healing powers, so you can't quite stack everything together. On the other hand, note that Protector Shaman's get to add their con mod when allies heal next to the spirit companion to begin with, so we're looking at Con+Con+Wis, which is nothing to laugh at!

Yeah, Scarred Healer looks off the hook, more of a single-target healer compared to the Spirit Tempest party healer. Very excited to see all my options for when we hit paragon! (and hopefully get a definite pick for level 7.)

We could also use more good feats, so hoping for a surfeit.
