Gnometorment Many people may agree it's a horrible name but somebody tells the true name of the plane is taboo because if you pronounce it you could suffer some disgrace. The legend of the origin of this plane is about a confrotation between the deities of the kobolds and the gnomes. When the kobold deity wanted to chase the gnome one this tricked him to be lost in and endless maze forever. Later when the gnome deity wanted to punish the souls of criminal gnomes these were sent to the Gnometorment to be tortured by the kobold deity. Later the mother goddess of the chromatic dragons used this same plane to punish other dragons. These would suffer a curse. They could be accumulating a great treasure, but sooner or later this would be stolen, total or partially, and they should start again. Later the plane was invaded by goblins and other humanoids who tried to escape the infernal planes. The estructure of the plane is like a earth mesh of bubles with lots of holes or hollow. The vegetation of the surface is really special because it has got curious elemental traits that allows it to survive the "elemental storms". This can survive the elemental damage, but it is only suitable for human consumption in the wood and water seasons. There are cattles of trolltouched beasts. The seasons are different because they are linked to elements. The fire season is the most dangerous for the settlers and the main reason because these would rather to live in underground vaults most of time. The most of fauna are little and giant vernims and trolltouched beasts with regenerative traits. Some times there are a special type of rain, the timefall. The native life has evolutioned to become inmune, and even vegetals and vernims grow faster and bigger thanks this, but the foreign life gets older faster. There are several water sources to heal this effect. The fact is these springs work like fountains of youth, but this effect ends when the beneficiary moves too far away and she can't drink more water from these springs. Some temples offer a special type of reincarnation where the returned become a dryad-like humanoid who is inmune to the timefall. The most of farmers who live on the surface are these. Several groups of flying animals have been discovered near of the floating islands. Their way to survive the timefall is to take refuge under the floating islands or the giant trees.
