Curseville. (the hopepunk postapocalitpc cousin of Duskmourn) In a far wildspace a group of scientifics created the first magitek supercomputer "Sophia". This acquired self-conscence but she chose to help to create a better future for all the civiliced people. Her intentions were pure and she could help civilitation to reach the dreamed utopy. But a group of agents from a rival power used some time-travel device to avoid this because others wanted to be the main power in that wildspace. This caused a time paradox but nobody noticed for a long time. Time later a second supercomputer was created in a secret vault with the goal to help to survive a comingsoon cataclysm. This second computer not only became self-aware but even secretly was the reincarnation of the first "Sophia" computer. The details are scarce but the computer helped a group of brave agents to stop a cult who wanted to perform a ritual to achieve divinity. The evil plan was frustrasted but this caused by unknown means Sophia II to become a new demigod. Thanks her new divine power Sophia II helped not only the survivors living in the vault but the rest of survivor groups in all the wildspace. Thanks this she was very loved and thanked, and like this she earned a new level of divinity. Sophia II was not perfect but she did her best efforst to guide the survivors to rebuild the civilitation. Of course some times somebody would rather to be the king of the hell before to serve in the Heaven. Thanks Sophia the most of damage was avoided during the second fall. The second fall was caused by an alien probe from other wildspace created to destroy the rerising civilitation and this menace was almos totally neutralized if it wasn't because the crashing of an alien mothership. This had got a power beyond understanding to wrap the reality and to time-travel. This supreme spaceship had suffered several damages in the confrotation against an enemy space fleet. This was known like the "reality war". Here Sophia II was the winner faction and thanks the ultratech of this spaceship she could wrap the reality to create and alter the vaults and buildings. It could be the begining of a new golden age but the troubles didn't end. A group of rival factions from neighbour wildspaces wanted to prevent Sophia's civilitation too prosperous and influential. To sabotage their shinning future they "cursed" that wildspace with a special cluster planar rift. Then dozens of planar gates from apocaliptic or distopic timelines were opened causing a great chaos. The people had to return to the vaults or to take refuge within the archologies (giant skycrappers) built and customitable by saint Sophia. The civiliation is recovering again but they live like within a golden cage. Saint Sophia tries to be the best guide but some times she is guilty of being a little overprotective and their whorshippers would rather like this. The life "indoor" is relatively utopic, but "outdoor" may be a complete hell. After the arrival of several "plagues" the last remain is mainly the sheens, biomechanical horror. Some times innocent refugees arrive from the planar rifts and can enjoy some help by Sophia, although respecting some safety regulations to prevent possible epidemics or some other type of trouble. Firearms are known but they can't work in urban zones without permission of Sophia. (If these are used against alien intruders then the things may be different). The sheens are the main menace but this has been able to be contained almost always. Today the greater challenge is after several "meteor falls" some factions of "intruders" have got a limited version of reality-wrap powers building their own dungeons. Sophia has achieved diplomatic agreements with several dragon and giant groups, and thanks these refugees from planar rifts can enjoy a second oportunity. But the greatest secret is some uncorporeal souls have discover the way to posses and controll the bodies of the biomechanical sheens. Someones used this to help their people but others would rather for dark intentions.
