Primus: No longer

Heh, apparently a mistake on my part here. The name Primus has already been trademarked and can not be used for the name of the Project in question. (Friend: I am working on an email response to you but my email is malnfunctioning, should be up in less than an hour)

Anyway, the project will go unnamed for now until I think of some other name that isnt already claimed, lol.

On the plus side, the file server is working, though there is nothing on it and it has no domain name because network solutions is a pain in the patootie. (actually its probably my imperfect understanding of the way it works, im still a newbie at all this) I will put the address up here as soon as I get something on there worth looking at.

Question -- is Primus trademarked as the name of the Modron Lords/Deity, or as the LG Transformers Deity? Or does it matter?

Possibly the Band? I dunno how trademarks work and wether or not they cross creative boundaries, but Primus the musical group have been around the underground for ages.

Oh, a note regarding Network Solutions... If at all posible, do not use them! It seems you already have an acount with them, but they are a royal pain in the patootie to work with. It took me 6 emails, 3 faxes and 2 telephone calls to get a domain transfer from them a few years ago for one of my web design clients... a real pain.
