D&D 5E Princes of the Apocalypse - Abandoned Quarry

It was close to this yesterday .. the pair of bullettes that made the combat shaky were in a matting Ritual ;)

Btw. In my last Campaign (13th Age) I had a Scene with Bullett-Rodeo where the one who can hold themself longest on one of the Bullettes (small ones and the grounds was impenentrable to their burrowing) would win. Which was interrupted by a massive Bullette with a House on the Bag, where a Witch lived that wanted her "children" back (both Ideas from the 13th Age Bestiary!). :)

I'm not a huge 13age fan, but that bestiary is GREAT. I took so many ideas and adapted them to monster powers to layer onto 5e monsters.

Just to tell you the quarry is on the Red Larch Map. It's the rocky area with no houses or anything near it. Right next to 18 on the map. (from the map I bought of it. It was originally marked 24.)

That's Mellikho Stoneworks—it's different from the location labeled as "Old Quarries" on Red Larch Surroundings and "Abandoned Quarry" on Dessarin Valley.

Yeah, the PCs already snuck into Mellikho's quarry to follow the Black Earth cult after they damn near TPKd the whole party. The "Abandoned Quarry" is miles distant. And prone to bullette attacks :)
