Printer Goes Bad

-My last printer was an Epson 800 that lasted 6 years with no problems before dying. My new Epson is just working fine and only cost $65 (on sale with a rebate). I'm pretty satisfied with their products.
-Did you use generic ink cartridges? You have to be careful in choosing them. Some are very good, while others can really trash your printer.

At work we have a Konica Minolta Bizhub colour laser printer/copier/scanner, and it's brilliant.

Unfortunately, I can't really get one for home: I think they are about £35000 to buy (We lease ours).

It probably also staples, binds, scans to e-mail, comes with an LCD screen that gets Satilite TV, speaks 12 different languages, and can do your taxes.

I must say, that as a computer tech, it is my professional oppinion that I absalutely loath printers, I hate them with a passion. 90% of all of the computer problems I look at have to do with printers.

As for printing off PDFs, my workplace has a very nice xerox printer that prints high quality and double sided. It's nice for printing stuff.

But do you have The Bestiary: Predators? :) Which is a good book to have even if you can't print it out. (Something I don't usually say about PDFs. :D )
