Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mark" data-source="post: 4908473" data-attributes="member: 5"><p>My local UPS Store charges $0.10 or less for a B&W copy, and when I supply my own paperstock (sometimes I bring cardstock for dungeon tiles), they sometimes round down on the quantity.  IIRC, a  Kinkos/FedEx are corporate owned but the local UPS Store is a franchise.  The local UPS Store owner owns the one close to me and a few others, and he often puts hours in each store himself.  He has leeway to make price adjustments on his own.  He sometimes runs specials on copy pricing, like B&W for less than $0.10 each and color copies are now down to $0.35 each and sticking there.  I keep my eyes open for better deals but haven't found one in the past couple of years and I've watched about a half dozen "kwiky" copy services and small print shops that will do copying in the area.  Check the yellow pages or do an Internet search for everything close to you, then call around to all of the places and they will give you the current prices.  Ask if they ever run sales on copying prices.  Make sure you can bring your own cardstock (some smaller places were weird about doing that, I found).  It's worth looking around as the differences in price and service can be extreme.  I had one small place get upset because my color copies had a lot of ink coverage (they were battlemap sections) and tried to charge me double on what was already a high price for a color copy.</p></blockquote><p></p>
