Louis Porter Jr. Design has released Prisoners of the Black Box: Agent Black & Basilisk (Super-Powered by M&M). Here is information on this product:
As advanced technology becomes increasingly important and valuable, so too does the opportunity for corporate and economic espionage between companies and organizations. While a handful of superpowered individuals use their abilities to engage in such sabotage and theft, some of the more noteworthy agents in this lucrative field have few, if any, superpowers. Individuals such as Ian Black (AKA Agent Black) have carved out a reputation for themselves through skill, luck, and audacity. In Black’s case, however, while his audacity is seemingly endless, his luck has proven finite. He currently resides in the Gereza Maximum Security Facility after a brazen raid against a Twilight, Inc. research facility on behalf of a heretofore unrevealed client.
When EaGLE (Espionage and Governmental Law Enforcement) branch incarcerates a convicted criminal of this type at the Black Box facility, they do so because the criminal poses a danger for other reasons such as their intellect, their connections, or to make an example of them. Faith Scott, AKA Basilisk, however, represents an unusual case. While all her powers originate from a piece of advanced technology known as the Basilisk System Helmet, the device has become permanently linked to her brain in such a way that it can’t be removed without inflicting permanent brain damage unless she agrees to it. Forcibly removing the helmet would also cause it to violently explode in a large radius. To date, Scott has refused such demands, and even the company that built the helmet isn’t certain how to remove it without triggering the self-destruct feature.
This PDF contains everything you need to know about Agent Black & Basilisk in the Amazing Universe Campaign or any other superhero campaign.
