Privateer puts their books out in PDF!

Privateer Press has put their Iron Kingdoms RPG books out for sale in PDF format at RPGnow! See Here.

I'm excited, they are expensive but finally available.

First Palladium, then Warhammer, now Iron Kingdoms. Its been nice to see some positive additions in pdf availability after the depressing removal of the WotC ones.

I've got the two Monsternomicons in hard copy and like them. I haven't seen the others, though I've heard good things about the setting and the Five Fingers books.

Awesome. The more companies that support pdf releases of their work, the better. WotC's pretty damn isolated on the other side of things right now.

Makes sense to me. These books have long been out of print for the most part.

Yep. If the choice is between not making any money on products because they aren't available for people to buy and making some money by releasing those same products in PDF, I know what I would do.

Nice to see great products return, even if in PDF format. But the pricing I'm seeing - $30 a pop - no way I can see clear to spending that much.

Wish WotC would take this stance with their backlog of TSR stuff :P
Instead, I've purchased out of print stuff off of amazon. I'm sure Amazon (and the individual amazon stores) appreciate the business :D

As it so happens, I purchased the Iron Kingdoms core book just recently off of Amazon for cover price. It has been selling for about $65 used (indeed, at the moment of writing this, there is one copy for sell at $50 with the next lowest at $65). I don't mind spending $10 extra bucks to have a hard copy (but now I'll debate whether or not I want to buy the PDF as well).
