PRM Errors

I keep getting errors when I try and run RPM after installing. Something about an error creating a tab. Am I doing something wrong? Please help.

Sounds unusual. What exactly is the very first error message?

the exact error message is as follows:

An Error has occured
tab Create_Skills: Type mismatch for field 'RanksFull', expecting: Float actual: integer
To protect the integrity of the database, it's recommended to quit now!

Then I get the option to click yes or no.

I'm using Windows ME, if that helps any.

Okay. Generally when I get an error, it's the result of incorrectly applying an update.This doesn't sound like one of those.
Can you tell me what you were doing? For example, just starting up the app, or creating a new character/creature, or performing a "Level Up", edit skills etc.

I apply the update by extracting the files from the update zip file into the directory i installed the main program into and telling it to overwrite all files that already exist.

The error occurs after I've installed and updated. It pops up right after the license agreement. I've never been able to get past the agreement.

Sounds like an incorrectly applied update after all.
Check "Note 3" on the download page. You need to have "Use Folder Names" checked, as well as "Overwrite Existing Files" in Winzip. That way the correct files go into their sub-directories.
