<blockquote data-quote="Summoner" data-source="post: 66878" data-attributes="member: 1481">I could use some help too.We are currently involved in two Scarred Lands campaigns.&nbsp; One set in the city of Shalizar (sp?) and another as a party of roving adventures.I will start with the roving campaign description first.&nbsp; It is a combat oriented game, about two encounters per night and has 112!!! players.&nbsp; Nothing wrong with this but the DM doesn't always have time to throw in a lot of character development and such.&nbsp; But, its fun for the company.&nbsp; The player in question is playing a Cleric of Madriel, who is primarily a courtesan style character.&nbsp; Very heavily roleplay oriented.&nbsp; Than he complains that he doesn't get to roleplay his character and his character is worthless and that he should just quit playing.&nbsp; He whines that the rest of us aren't into roleplaying and so on and so forth.&nbsp; He refuses to take Meta-Magic and Item Creation feats and instead takes SKill Focus: Perform (Seduction) and other skills that are relatively worthless in a combat oriented campaign.Our Shalizar campaign is quite the opposite.&nbsp; There are 3-5 players depending on the night we get together and it is very roleplaying oriented.&nbsp; We have been playing for a long time and have had maybe a dozen combats (been playing for about 40 sessions)&nbsp; been a strictly roleplaying and investigation based campaign.&nbsp; He makes up a Half Dragon Fighter with just fighter skills.&nbsp; He complains in this game that there is too little roleplaying as well.&nbsp; Now, he wants to bring up a Artisan and get more roleplaying.The catch is all he does is sit there.&nbsp; Even when given the oppritunity to roleplay, he does not get into it.&nbsp; He stutters and ummms alot, and ends up making the situation worse, because our GMs give a bonus or penalty based on roleplaying for Gather Information, Bluff, Diplomacy, or Innuendo rolls.&nbsp; I am not sure if I want him around any more, as a player, what can I do?</blockquote>
