Spycraft: Project Duct Tape Season One: The Case of the Missing Opera Singer Jason Argosy is sitting at his desk, at the Orion Securities offices. He has spent most of the last week and the entire weekend – up until about half an hour ago – in a series of meeting with the administrative staff of one of the Secret Service’s training facilities. After dealing with beauricrats for the last few days, the pile of paperwork in his ‘IN’ basket looks almost appealing. A uniformed messanger appears at his door. “Mr. Indigo?” the messanger studies his clipboard. “Yes?” “I’ve a document for you. Please sign here.” He holds out a data-pad-clip-board and indicates the rectangular box in the center of the screen with the attached plastic stylus. Jason signs ‘Agent Indigo’ with a flourish and accepts the manila folder from the messanger. “Have a nice day.” “The same to you.” He waits until the messanger has left, closes the office door and opens the envelope. Conrad S. Hauser sits in his living room, soft music playing in the background as he reads the top paper in a stack of essays. He starts briefly when the doorbell rings and looks throught the peep-hole before opening it to the liveried messanger. “I’m looking for a {pause as a clipboard is consulted} Mr. Crimson.” “That would be me.” “Could you sign here please, I’ve got a package for you, Sir.” He signs ‘Agent Crimson’ in the small space next to his name and address and then accepts a small padded envelope from the messanger. “Thank you.” “Have a good evening.” Spirit is writing code furiously, cigarette hanging out of one corner of his mouth.
