This is because I don't want to keep track of anything outside of the dungeon that is combat related. In game terms the lich has placed a geas or similar spell on evil team members to remain in the dungeon for the duration. All Mercs CAN leave the dungeon however, but can not attack outside the dungeon. </p><p></p><p>Cohorts use a 24 point buy system for attributes. Followers use an 18 point buy system.
