[Psi] Negative levels & Power Points?

When a spellcaster gains a negative level, they also lose a single spell slot or prepared spell from the highest level they have available to lose.

How does this translate to Psions / Manifesters? How many power points do they lose per negative level gained? (is this covered in the PsiHB? I'm too lazy to go digging for the book honestly).

This was answered at the PsiH official boards, which are down at the moment. They had to modify the Greater Renewal power to fix that little problem.

Psionic characters have a 50% chance of losing the ability to manifest any given power [not permanently], in addition to losing known powers for losing a level.

This is still unclear. I'll see what I can do about it.

IMC, they lose power points equal to what they would spend for their highest level power for each negative level they get. So if my 8th level Psion can manifest 4th level powers, and he takes a negative level, he loses 7 power points for the day. He would keep losing 7 pp's for each negative level he got (proabably resulting his death long before he ran out of power points, but the same could be said for spellcasters and their slots)
