Been looking, but I can't find anything of the sort. Do Psionics have any sort of Spell Failure when they wear heavy armor?

No.

And as for a reference:

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Psions are proficient with the club, dagger, heavy crossbow, light crossbow, quarterstaff, and shortspear. They are not proficient with any type of armor or shield. Armor does not, however, interfere with the manifestation of powers.

That sacred cow has no place in psionics!

You might add something like this as an optional rule, but it would involve other people's armour:

So you want to concentrate on killing your enemy with your brain, but then in comes a chick that would make succubi seem ugly, wearing a very revealing armour ensemble complete with chain-mail bra and undies, otherwise being made mostly of semi-transparant elven glass-steel.

Suddenly your brain can't concentrate on killing things any more. Roll Psionic Spell Failure, or your Psi Hand power will pinch something else of its own volition. :p

Actually, arcane spell failure has no place in magic. It's a sacred cow and not a balance thing, according to the game designers.

Psions don't get any armor proficiency anyway. Psywarriors need it. Wilders get some as part of the huge trade off for their limited powers known.

I was considering subtracting armor check from manifester level for a game I wanted to use the psion, with the serial numbers filed off, as a generic "mage" class. But again it was a flavor thing.
