Found this old thread while looking up stuff while reading The World of Praemal in which Monte replies:[sblock]Adventure Levels SPOILERS AHEAD! PLAYERS BACK OFF! Yeah, I see how you could make that assumption. In reality, I could have called that entire campaign "the Night of Dissolution." It was a recurring theme, and a term the PCs first heard when they were probably about 2nd level. What the published "Night of Dissolution" will involve is a campaign arc against the chaos cults and the growing evil below the city. If you read through the old campaign journal closely, you'll see that the "Night of Dissolution" actually almost happened a couple of times, not just the final confrontation the PCs had involving the Elder Gods, the Vallis Moon, etc.when they were all 17th level. The climax of the campaign arc will be (hopefully) stopping the evil Shigmaa Wuntad from using Galchutt blood and awakening the lords of chaos, which will be a really tough and exciting challenge for 9th level characters. On the way there will be cultists, Forsaken, undead, demons, chaositech, rhodintor, and all kinds of fun.[/sblock] Peace and smiles :) j.
