Published Adventures

First Post
Hey all, I'm looking for some help with my current bout with writer's block. I'm looking for a published adventure that I can modify for my homebrew campaign. I'm looking for something late heroic that will lead into the climatic encounter of heroic tier. I'm just interested in a good, entertaining late-heroic tier adventure (other than Temple Between or other Scales of War since I am running that in another campaign). The PCs are currently 9th, but I'm not too worried about level since I can adjust easily enough.

Obviously a free mod is better but I am not opposed to buying one either.

Thanks in advance!

Can you provide any details of your campaign to help with recommendations?

Oh you and your logical questions. :p

Essentially, the theme of the campaign is the attempt to resurrect a powerful primordial who required 6 gods to defeat it during the Dawn War. Its heart was sealed by the gods and now the seals are slowly breaking.

The major enemies in the campaign so far are an individual thought to have died 100 years ago and entities from the Far Realm. My climactic encounter is intended as a 3-way fight between the PCs, the Far Realm soldiers and the "noble thought to have died" and his forces. The idea was to have the fight as the third seal is being broken or just after, etc.

From a quick glance, Last Breath of Ashenport definitely seems to be on the right track as it would be a simple matter to flavor the creatures as Far Realm entities. What I'm looking for as much as anything is interesting encounters with a decent plot, though obviously some of the plot is likely to be adapted to fit my campaign.

Hope that helps but if you have any more questions please let me know.

renau1g: Thanks for the link, that is definitely a contender!

If you can get your hands on it, the RPGA award tomb of horrors is a great conversion (and no, not quite as deadly as the original, but pretty deadly). This is different from the Tomb of Horrors book, which is also good, but is basically a paragon to epic level campaing.

Hmmm, I'll see if I can get a hold of a copy of it, unfortunately I do not have one myself. :( The Tomb idea though could definitely be made to work. Thanks for the suggestion.

There are a couple of threads on (RPGA reward) ToH in this forum and its gotten good feedback. On my own read through I really thought it was a great conversion and plan on using it.

As for getting a copy, all I will say is that if you look for something hard enough, you can probably find it.
