Publisher Forums

I know there used to be hosted forums, but they are no longer being sold (due to sub-licensing restrictions, I believe). There are, however, forums devoted to publishers affiliated with the ENGS. What is their status now that the ENGS has been closed?

If they are still around, is there provision for someone else to have a publisher forum set up at EN World? What is the procedure, costs, etc? Can you have it done even if you don't have a published product yet?

And... can you pay for it with the money in the ENGS account that is locked up and apparently can't be withdrawn?

I'm not planning on selling individual forums - far too much like hard work!

And, as I mentioned in your other thread on the subject, I've emailed Chris about your funds problem. He has said he's looking into it for you - it seems to be a bizarre one-off problem, but we'll have the funds back to you somehow.

Awww. Sepulchrave and I were wanting to set up Jacobean Publishing to work on Epic spellcasting rules, mostly so we could get a forum where the work can be done and people could kibbitz. Like Upper_Krust's setup.

Oh well. Perhaps an alternative will turn up.

Cathix has graciously allowed us to use the Dog Soul forums for our Epic Magic project. So that's taken care of. Another question:

Do publisher forums only have the General tag, or could other tags be used? I asked Cathix and she said she didn't know, but that Meta would be the place to ask.

The forum owner can create as many tags as needed using the Forum tools menu at the top of the forum.
