Pulp Cthulhu

According to the website ( www.chaosiumcom/coming-soon.shtml ), it's been pushed back to summer 2003. Ah well- I'll just have to be content with reading my shiny new copy of "Beyond the Mountains of Madness" instead. As long as that book is, I should have it done right around the time the game comes out. :D

Another cool thing is that they're re-releasing all the old "Lovecraft country" books with the D20 stats- Dunwich is already out, and Arkham and Kingsport are supposed to be some time next year. I'm really looking forward to the Dreamlands hardback, as I've been wanting to use that material for D&D games.

And, for those of you familar with it, there's an unsubstantiated rumor that the "Horror on the Orient Express" campaign is supposed to be reprinted, too. That was a pulp story if ever I'd seen one!

I imagine Yellow Sign has it right. For a company that's been around since close to the beginning, and has one of the most recognized brands out there, for some reason Chaosium always seems to have money problems. At least they're starting to get back into the swing of things- for a while in the late nineties they were barely scraping by.

I have to say that their production values seem to be getting better and better as time goes on. I just finished up reading the Goatswood book, and it's awesome. I'd definately suggest it to any Campbell fans, or anyone who wants to do modern day British investigations.
