Does anyone know where I can find a good Puritan male costume?

I wanna go as Solomon Kane for Halloween and possibly at the next RenFest. So, I need some hip (circa 1650) threads.

Don't they have Thanksgiving/Columbus reenactments down in the states? You might want to check your City Hall. Granted such groups that use the costumes might not give them up.

I've seen decent patterns for some at places like Walmart or KMart. The trick after that is to find someone to actually MAKE the costume.

I'm not too sure about the Ren fair avenue as they aim more for the medieval time period in costuming and the Puritans came much later.

I've seen the women at a renFair. I want to dress as Kane, go to a RenFair and thump the costumed women...
