Putting a shocker lizard inside a flesh golem

Don't know if this is the right place for this, but...

Got a construct mage coming up, a big bad guy, thought it may be a fun sub plot that our heroes get all the clues that the construct guy is planning on putting shocker lizards inside flesh golems.
Make the rib cage bigger, a little locked door, feed them, etc, 100% cover.
During combat, the lizards get agitated and start attacking.
Thus regenerating the golems.
Final battle would be a group of flesh golems and the shocker lizards would all be shooting their lightning normally.
The lizards would be protected by the golems, so nothing with SR would affect them.
All the player would have to do is one of the cloud spells to stop them.
But they would have to figure that out.
Or investigate after killing one.

10 th level party.
Too much?
Fun?

More later,

Just remember to put at least 2 shocker lizards in each golem or keep the golems within 20 feet of each other; if I'm not mistaken, the shocker lizards' electricity attack only deals nonlethal damage unless there's another shocker lizard within 20 feet. Since constructs are immune to nonlethal damage, I don't think they'd be healed otherwise.

Other than that, I'd say throw 3 golems and 6 shocker lizards at the party, an EL on the high side of ~10ish. Dastardly.

I think that sounds like fun! With added novelty value. A good final encounter.

Reckon you should work out for a couple of unusual rulings. If I were a PC I'd try to get at the shocker lizards.

As a DM, I'd let them. I figure it's basically a Sunder attempt to break open the little locked door? Between the closing in and the sundering it's going to 'opportunity attack'-tastic! :)
