Q: Invisibility Purge

Does this spell reveals something in astral or ethereal plane? I know See Invisible let the caster see those things. But somewhat wondering if this spell affects those planes. Do anybody know rule clarification for this spell?

Manual of the Planes, page 32. There are lists of spells which affect other planes in addition to the material, and Invisibility purge is listed among those affecting the ethereal but not those affecting the astral.
