More notably, it's also come out in recent years that this wasn't the conclusion to the story that Gary Gygax - who penned the previous modules - wanted, something that the product's sales page notes as being hinted at by how previous installments had the PCs fighting the servants of the Elder Elemental God, rather than Lolth.</p><p></p><p>The GDQ series has been re-released in various bundles over the years following the publication of the original adventures. As such, certain parts of the saga are available in POD format now, while others can only be picked up as PDFs, and a few have yet to be officially released at all! For instance, <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/186742/G1-Steading-of-the-Hill-Giant-Chief-1e?affiliate_id=820" target="_blank"><em>G1 Steading of the Hill Giant Chief</em></a>, <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/176867/G2-The-Glacial-Rift-of-the-Frost-Giant-Jarl-1e?affiliate_id=820" target="_blank"><em>G2 The Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl</em></a>, and <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/176868/G3-Hall-of-the-Fire-Giant-King-1e?affiliate_id=820" target="_blank"><em>G3 Hall of the Fire Giant King</em></a> are only available as PDFs, whereas the compiled <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/17037/G13-Against-the-Giants-1e?affiliate_id=820" target="_blank"><em>G1-3 Against the Giants</em></a> has a POD option. Similarly, <em>D1 Descent Into the Depths of the Earth</em> isn't available, but <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/17042/D2-Shrine-of-the-KuoToa-1e?affiliate_id=820" target="_blank"><em>D2 Shrine of the Kuo-Toa</em></a> is available in print and PDF, and <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/17041/D12-Descent-into-the-Depths-of-the-Earth-1e?affiliate_id=820" target="_blank"><em>D1-2 Descent Into the Depths of the Earth</em></a>, which combines the previous two adventures into one, is likewise available in both formats. <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/17043/D3-Vault-of-the-Drow-1e?affiliate_id=820" target="_blank"><em>D3 Vault of the Drow</em></a>, however, is PDF-only.</p><p></p><p>Unfortunately, <a href="https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product_reviews.php?products_id=17036&affiliate_id=820" target="_blank"><em>GDQ1-7 Queen of the Spiders</em></a>, which combined all seven adventures into a single super-module, was previously available on DriveThruRPG, but was pulled some time ago.
