For the sake of not scaring away potential players with my lazy website, I'll front some info about our game here. We play in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, mostly because I and one of my players are most knowledgeable of this world. It's a second edition game, however, since we try to focus on the roleplay more than the rules, it really shouldn't have an effect on any suitable players. We're more strict than when we first began, and I warn now, don't bother approaching me unless you are a competent roleplayer with at least rudimentary grammar and spelling skills. Our three long running, main PCs are capable of a certain calibre of roleplay and they expect a certain quality in return. I apologize for making our game sound elitist. There are plenty of online games out there that welcome poorly constructed sentences and internet speak, and there are probably plenty of games out there that dwarf ours in quality. Here are tiny examples of standard action, combat action, and speech.  Vurghil: Like a spectre, a shadowy man with a white Mask materializes out of the ranks of soldiers nearest the castle, walking quickly into the courtyard, a hunched angle to his posture, like he's cold, or suspicious, or both...  Douglas Lamalle: Douglas growled, knowing the spell was to run out soon - he could feel it in his muscles, though they remained at this peak just enough to keep him up for this final attack. "Tyr, guide my blade..."  Tanis Wolfe: Tanis nodded respectfully. "I shall continue to, My Lord. I have been making war upon these foul abominations in hopes to repent for my sin of failure, and whatever lives have been lost due to it." He made a small, yet expansive gesture of the castle. "I have returned to the castle, in fact, to scout for any form of equipment that could aid me in this task. While my life belongs to those who need it most, I know that I better serve them the longer I may protect them."
