Wulf Ratbane and jaerdaph: <sarcasm> Now THAT is maturity at it's best. </sarcasm> I state my views and opinions, and am told I need to be on medication. Very nice  Psion: Actually, long ago I posted that I was worried over the mutability of the license. I was told by severl industry leaders not to worry, and to seek the advice of a lawyer if I had any concearns. I did. His advice was that the "breach and cure" portion of the license could protect me for 30 days if another version of the license came out that could be used to target me directly, like the current version. In 26 days, no product produced by my company will bear the d20 logo. As far as previous experience and predictions goes, we'll leave your little about-face derrogatory "evidently you can" remark out of this. What YOU have experienced with WotC/Hasbro is different that what I have experienced. My expereinces cause me to place allot of trust in the company. I trust them to act in a dispicable and underhanded manner whenever they can get away with it. Of course that is my OPINION. <sigh> Take a look at the role-call will you? Ryan dancey, Anthony Valtera, ect are no longer a part of the company. Everybody who was involved in the creation of the original OGL and d20 STL, as well as the philosphy behind them, is gone. Now WotC is controlled by Hasbro, a styereotypicl "big business" company, with al that entails. Do you HONESLTY not think that they see D&D as anything other than another form of Barbie doll? Rememebr what happened to "Nancy" (or whatever her name was) dolls from back in the day? <History Lesson> back when barbie was gaining popularity, another company put out a competing product doll (I think it was called "Nancy"). Hasbro pulled a legal snatch-and-burn and now who the heck remembers "Nancy"?</History Lesson> Yes, I know this shows I'm an "old fogey" ;) The point is that the same folks, and corporate culture, that has made a practice of attacking competition is now the group responsible for "good behavior" with the new d20STL. This is a CORPORATION we are talking about here! They are niether better nor worse than any other corporation (blatant CYOA statement). I trust them to act in the same manner as they have in the past. I can either sit idly by and "take it", or I can TRY to DO SOMETHING about it! I have never been one to just sit and wait for bad news...
