Character?

The D&D reference to Quasqueton was the dungeon in B1 In Search of the Inknown. If there was a later NPC, that's where the name came from (as does the ENWorld user's name, I assume).

I'm not aware of whether the dungeon got its name from the town.

Yep. B1 was the first dungeon I ever explored, and so that's the forum handle I took for posting here.
