We've just had an opening in our D&D campaign and need someone to fill it for the long term. The game is set in a heavily modified version of Greyhawk with strong Roman Empire influences. The rules are mostly 3.0 D&D (we feel that we've gone too far into the campaign to Convert at this point) though we've taken several 3.5 modifications as "house rules". The campaign style would probably be best described as "epic" with the characters playing an important role in events ranging from battles to politics and more that will decide the fate of the world and all that stuff.
We'd prefer someone with experience as the game is in the middle levels now (10-12). Role-playing skills are a must, but don't be shy to roll the 20s when the opportunity arises. If you consider yourself to be sly, even better, cuz the party is in dire need of a spy type character. The group is mostly veteran players in and around 30 years of age. We play at my place in Forest Hills, Queens on Sunday afternoon/early evening, usually every other week.
