So the DDM Minis rules state that a when you roll a save against an ongoing effect, a roll of 20 immediately ends all onoing effects in addition to the one you were saving against. Is this rule for natural 20s only in DDM? Or does the "natural 20 ends all effects" rule exist in 4e?
I noticed that the rules primer didn't mention it... Can anyone who was there shed some light on it?
I REALLY like this rule, even more so after hearing from playtest reports about people trying to remember all their ongoing conditions. I hope they didn't take this rule out for the RPG.
My other question is damage scaling. I haven't seen this specifically addressed anywhere else. Does anyone know how damage scales with level? Do you or do you not add 1/2 level to damage like you do in SW Saga? I have seen conflicting info about this.
And if not, how does damage scale? Only through taking higher level powers with higher base damage? Well, if thats the case what about Basic Attacks? If OA's only allow for Basic Attacks it seems kind of lame if you are still doing the same damage with an OA at 30th level that you did at 1st level.
