As many of you know, I'm working feverishly to get Dawning Star out the door, my sci-fi campaign setting built on d20 Modern and powered by d20 Future.
The d20 Future material has been released to the MSRD, true enough. However, the d20 License and the d20 System Guide were not updated (intentionally or by oversigh, who knows) to permit reference to the name of the book, to wit, "d20 Future." So, I've been forced to use the lamentably strained reference: "the recently released future rules"
However, I've seen some other d20 Future products come out that specifically reference d20 Future.
Am I missing something? or are they?
This question is made all the more perpelxing in that the d20 System Guide was updated after Urban Arcana and referenced that title in several places but specifically omitted it from the section on "Citations of Other Wizards of the Coast Products in Covered Works", which concludes: "At this time, you may not make reference to any other Wizards of the Coast products." It does not appear to have been updated following the release of d20 Future in that it does not reference it anywhere, including the list of trademarks that it covers.
Help please.
