Question about Full round action

A Full Round Action is a standard action and a 5ft step. The standard action includes an action and a standard move.

I want to ask if someone can:
1) move first 4ft step and then take the standard action
2) move 5ft step, use the tumble skill and then make a single attack.

Thanks

A "5-ft step" only counts as such if it's the ONLY movement you make in a round. You cannot, for instance, move 5 feet, attack, and then move some more, unless you have the Spring Attack feat. Even then, your total movement is limited to your current speed, usually 20 ft or 30 ft.

1: no - A Standard Action allows a single attack and movement up to or equal to his speed (walking at his curren encumbrance). So if you mean make and 5', attack, then move again, no, you can't do this. The Spring Attack feat is the only way you can move-attack-move in one round.

2: Hmmm... - if you mean that the 5' step and tumble combinded equal you basic speed, yes you can do this. If you mean 5' step + your basic speed, no. You can only move more than your basic speed by making a Bull Rush attack (see PHB 124).

You mean charge, not bull rush.

And it is correct that you can only Tumble twenty feet, but you can move before or after the Tumble (as long as you don't do any action between moving and Tumbling) if your speed is greater than 20 feet. If your speed is less than 20 feet, you can only Tumble to the limit of your speed.
