Question About Mage's Specialization Exploit

Chooseone secret that you already know. You are specializedin that secret. You may exceed your MAGattribute by 2 points when using that secret.

Does this allow enhancements that cost up to 2 more MP than MAG attribute, or does it only allow casting spells up to 2 more MP than MAG attribute?

It doesn't change the skill prerequisites of an enhancement.

It allows a Mage with 6 MAG to cast an 8 MP spell as long as it uses only that secret. Useful for increasing range, area, duration, etc.
