Question about Max Skill Ranks and Feats for an PC.

First Post
I have a question about Max Skill Ranks and Feats for an PC my wife wants to play. She wants to play a Female Wild Halfling (or "Leafhair" Halfling as I've renamed it) with the class levels of Bard 5/Druid 5/Green Whisperer 5/Mystic Theurge 5 (we are playing Epic). I am wondering if due to her Multi-Class Levels she would be unable to have a high enough Max Skill Ranks in Perform or some other Class (or Cross Class) Skill to obtain the following Feats:

Animal Friend
Dragonsong
Green Ear
Lingering Song
Requium
Song of the Heart
Words of Creation

Any help would be appreciated. Thankies a bunchies! ^_^

Skill maximums are determined by having the skill in ANY of your classes.
Current skill costs are determined by having the skill in the class you took when you leveled up.
Thus, by investing enough skill points(double at the druid and Mystic Theurge levels), she'll be fine.

When you have a single level in a class, that has a skill as a class skill, your maximum ranks in that skill are your full character level +3.

Only if *all* your classes do *not* have it as a class skill, the maximum ranks are half that much.

However, when you level up, you learn the skills with the cost appropriate to your current class.

For example, a 1st-level Bard has 4 ranks in Perform. At 2nd level he multiclasses to Fighter. He can raise Perform to 5 now, but it costs 2 skill points, since it is a cross-class skill for Fighters.

Her max ranks in any class skill is 23. Her max ranks in any cross class skill is 11 1/2. Any skill that is a class skill in any of her four classes is considered a class skill for maximum ranks. However, she would have to pay cross-class penalties when buying that skill in a different class where it's not a class skill. Because Perform is a class skill for Bard, she would buy ranks in it 1-for-1 when progressing as Bard. Because Perform is a cross class skill for Druid and Mystic Theurge, she wold buy ranks at 1-for-2 when progressing as Druid or Mystic Theurge. I don't know about Green Whisperer.

Edit: Drat! Preempted! Twice!

As several people have already noted, a skill that is a class skill for any of your wife's four classes will have a max ranks of 23 at 20th level.

However, it is worth noting that you won't be taking all your feats at 20th level (or any of them in fact). You will be taking one at 1st (max 4 ranks), then one at 3rd (max 6 ranks), and so on. So you need to check whether you qualify for each feat you want to take at the level you want to take it.

BTW, unless I am missing something, I only count 20 levels there. Epic starts at 21st level.
