Message: <blockquote data-quote="Majoru Oakheart" data-source="post: 6300209" data-attributes="member: 5143">Just to add to this a little bit, Legacy of the Crystal Shard says that PCs might have played Murder in Baldur's Gate.  It then gives you a couple of hooks that might work well to bring the PCs from to Icewind Dale.  There are only a couple of small issues with connecting them that I see.  Murder in Baldur's Gate really entrenches the PCs as figures within Baldur's Gate and they might not want to leave because of a simple plot hook.  Also, both adventures are made for PCs level 1-3.  Since Murder is so open ended, it's certainly possible for the PCs to be level 3 or even 4 when they complete it making Legacy a little too easy.  Though, Murder has very few mandatory combats and if you only give out XP due to combat, it's possible for the PCs to still be level 1 at the end.Just something to keep in mind.</blockquote>
