I posted this on the Wizards Forums, but haven't really gotten much of a response. So, hoping to find more answers here. --------------------- A monk at level 4 gains Ki Strike, which makes his Unarmed Attacks count as magical for purposes of overcoming Damage Reduction. So, if the same monk has Natural Attacks, would those also benefit from the Ki Strike? Very specifically regarding Gestalt characters where you are supposed to get the best of both worlds (one class provides for natural attacks and the second class is monk). Two things come to mind though. First, from the Wizards Article: www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/rg/200... Unarmed Strikes and Natural Weaponry Before we move on, it's worth pointing out that a character making an unarmed attack, even with the Improved Unarmed Strike feat, does not have natural weapons.
