Question for owners of Dragon Compendium

First Post
I'm statting up members of the Seelie and Unseelie courts, and came across the old template for Seelie and Unseelie fey in Dragon #304. I know that the template ended up being republished (and I think updated for 3.5) in the Dragon Compendium....but I only have the original Dragon article, rather than the Compendium.

Is anyone who has the compendium able to advise me on how the Damage Reduction progression and Iron Vulnerability ratings changed from 3.0 to 3.5?

I know that at lvl 12+, DR on the Seelie template was 25/+2....and started as 5/iron at lvl 6. However, in 3.5, DR worked very differently....I don't know whether the DR was changed to 5/cold iron, or if it remained 5/iron, and at high levels if it was bypassed by magic weapons, cold iron and magic, or something else. And was iron vulnerability changed to cold iron vulnerability?

I'll check it when i get home tonight.

However: do you need this to be a RAW template use? You can't just follow the guidelines for updating to 3.5? Or Homebrew reasonably?

Comparing the two it looks like it's significantly reduced. DR for seelie fey is 5/cold iron until 10 HD, and then it becomes 10/cold iron. Unseelie fey have DR 5/cold iron starting at 4 HD, 10/cold iron starting at 8 HD, and 15/cold iron from 12 HD on.

Iron vulnerability remains unchanged.

Thank you. This is one thing I was missing. That iron vulnerability is nasty. I guess that's one reason the CR isn't adjusted more for the template.

As to Fireinthedust's question, I don't have the guidelines for changes from 3.0 to 3.5, so I wasn't really sure what to do with the DR. I found somewhere online how DR was changed for characters with divine ranks...but I don't have the updates for many of my other older books (or I don't know where to find them).

I was just as curious about whether it was all iron, or just cold iron that they were vulnerable to in 3.5, and I didn't figure that would be covered by any conversion guidelines.
