Heck, you can multiclass 2014 and 2024 classes together.  The only limitation I see is so far is that a 2014 class can't take a 2024 subclass, and a 2024 class can't access the 2014 core features that were updated (like spells and feats).Edit:  Wrong about feats, a 2024 class can take the 2014 feats, even if they've been updated.</blockquote>
