(Question) It's all about the tables, man!

Just a quick question for the Traveller fans out there: which (in print/PDF/legally obtainable) version of the Traveller core rules has the best plethora of (purportedly) awesome random tables for space stuff? Keep in mind:

- Not interested in the system (not knocking on it)

- Not interested in the setting (not knocking on it, either)

- Just the tables/space travel logistics stuff

I think Mongoose's Scout book has enhanced tables about all of that. I don't know if other versions have something comparable.

Wow, interesting. Traveler is interesting, because even thought there are different version (editions), they all feel the same and can (for the most part) be ported right into one another. So to answer your question...all of them. If you are looking for something specific my best (and unfortunately only) advice is to scan each booklet separately.

I wish I could point out that one shining example, but I don;t really have one.
