OK, this may be a dumb question and it really didn't come up on our 1st lvl, however now the characters have bumped to 2nd lvl, and now we have a question on how many powers can be used (w/o resting). We seem to come up with conflicting or ambiguous information. For instance, if a player has two different encounter powers, can they use both during an encounter? The same with daily powers - such as a wizard. Here's some of the information we are referring to: On pg58 PHB, it says: "An encounter power can be used once per encounter. You need to take a short rest before you can use one again...", eluding that only 1 encounter power can be used per encounter (even if you have two available) On pg 58 PHB: "A daily power can be used once per day... Once you use a daily power you need to take an extended rest before you can use it again" (Is "it" the same power? or a any daily power?) On pg 158 PHB (under Spellbook): ...You begin knowing two daily spells, one of which you can use on any given day. ....you can prepare a number of daily and utility spells according to what you can cast per day per your level" What we take from all of this is that you can only use 1 encounter power and only 1 daily power, but we were unsure if you can cast more depending on your level. Any clarification would be very helpful.
