I don't see a problem.  Eating them is not 'tossing them on a solid surface', so that's not going to end the spell.  And once he's eaten them, the original caster doesn't have line of effect, even without applying the range-touch rule, so no command-word activation, and no dispelling.The only problem the diner will suffer is if the duration of the spell - one day per level - expires before he passes them...-Hyp.</blockquote>
