Question Re: Dragon Feats

The message title is something of a double-entendre.

It's come to my attention that Dragon 111 has things called "bloodline" feats for sorcerors. This is of intense interest to me. However, in boonies where I live, no one carries Dragon magazine.

Until I can track the sucker down, would someone help me out and explain what the Bloodline feats for a draconic background would be? Prereqs and game effects. This is so I can prepare to "sell" the concept to my GM. :)

Thankee.

Prereq is the ability to cast arcane spells without preparation. It grants you a bonus spell known at each level you can cast, but the spells are more for flavor than real power-- they're not the spells most Sorcerors would pick with their normal slots. You also have to give up the selection of any spell with one descriptor-- dragonbloods choose one, celestials forsake evil, fire forsakes water, and so on.

Later feats give you a multiple-use spell-like ability for a weak spell (Dragonbloods get Detect Magic) and bonuses to social skills when dealing with your "kinfolk".
