Questions about D20 Future

Biohazard

First Post
1. Do we know when D20 Future is being released?

2. Do we know if it will be a D20 Modern supplement, or a self-contained game?

3. Do we know if it will make S&S's Gamma World obsolete? :p

1 - August (that's the best info I've gotten, and it's from a good source)

2 - Supplement

3 - No, it will not, but it will give you more options, which is what every new product does. (Heck, even 3.5 didn't make 3e obsolete)

Why worry about it? It's almost a year away.

KoOS

Mind pointing this out to me? I've never seen that. When I was at Gama last year and talked to WOTC that wasn't the impression I got.

It's a supplement for d20 Modern. Makes no sense making another standalone core game book, when the bulk of the rules is exactly the same as d20 Modern rulebook (sans the magical and psionic FX). Think of it as a new set of sci-fi FX plug-ins.
