Hey folks, My current party is splitting in half shortly to follow two different plot threads. One of them is heading back to the capitol because of a whole 'Hamlet'/'Lion King' thing going on (king was killed, exiled brother returned to claim throne, prince finding way back to deal with uncle). Originally, I was using the Destiny of Kings adventure module as the spine of the adventure thread... but this was back when I thought the entire group would go to the capitol to try and right the line of succession (and we'd have numerous game sessions to play the story out). Instead, it's now just the one PC who was the prince's bodyguard (plus another) who are rushing back to the capitol while the rest of the group deals with another problem more immediately to their desires. As a result, the succession storyline needs to get condensed down to at most two sessions, and thus I was wondering if anyone knew offhand of any shorter adventures/modules out there that had a 'line of succession' or 'overthrow the leader/king' plot in them that I could crib. I do have DDI, so any of the online Dungeon adventures are cool... and any edition is fine as I will freely adapt it to my 4E needs. My intrigue or story-based plots tend to be a bit simplistic and rough when I have to develop them on my own, which is why I always try and find adventures and modules to borrow from (since they usually have more interesting bits and bobs in them that I can come up with.) Any ideas would be appreciated, even if the plotline is a just small segment of a larger module (which I can pull out and adapt for my needs.) Thanks all!
